Clarence Hall

Clarence Hall is one of the most impressive church interiors in London. Its soaring arches, vaulted ceiling and generous proportions create a powerful yet welcoming setting for events that need both presence and practicality.

The hall works beautifully for concerts, receptions, conferences and elegant dinners. Its acoustics are frequently praised by musicians and performers for their depth and warmth, while the flexible layout allows the space to adapt easily to different formats and seating arrangements.

Key Features

A beautiful historic building designed by Ninian Comper, offering real presence and a strong sense of occasion for guests.
The space is well known for its acoustics and works especially well for music, talks and spoken events.
Clarence Hall can be set up in different ways, making it easy to adapt for concerts, receptions, dinners or conferences.
Accessible toilet facilities are available at the back of the hall, along with a small kitchenette to support catering and event logistics.

A step free entrance is available.

A selection of high quality and instruments are available, subject to approval. This includes two pianos, one of which is a Kawai grand piano and a Spurden Rutt organ of national significance.
Just a short walk from Baker Street Underground and Marylebone National Rail and Underground Stations, with excellent links across London.
Hire of the main hall includes use of the Crypt and Glentworth Room.
Free Wi-Fi, plus tables and chairs available throughout the building.

The Crypt

The Crypt is a flexible, blank-canvas space, designed to support the smooth running of larger events. It is often used for rehearsals, catering, breakout sessions or a base for event teams & performers.

Its open layout makes it easy to adapt to different needs, while its location close to the kitchen and main hall allows events to flow discreetly and efficiently behind the scenes.

A flexible space that supports larger events running in Clarence Hall, helping things flow smoothly behind the scenes.
Often used for catering, rehearsals or breakout sessions, giving you space to prepare, regroup or reset during the day.
The Crypt’s location next to the kitchen and newly renovated toilets makes it particularly practical for catering and event support.

Glentworth Room

The Glentworth Room is a quiet, well-presented space that offers a sense of separation from the main hall while remaining close to the heart of the event. It works particularly well as a green room for up to 5 people, an organiser’s office or a space for private meetings or counselling sessions.

An enclosed room away from the main hall, offering a quieter place to step out of the flow of the event.
Well suited for organisers, speakers or small meetings, and often used as a green room or coordination space on event days.
Located beneath Clarence Hall and close supporting areas, making it easy to stay connected while keeping a sense of separation.
